Self-Wringing Absorbent Sponge Mop

Keep your floors clean and dry with this high-efficiency mop. Designed to handle spills, dust, and pet hair, it features a hands-free drying mechanism that prevents contact with dirty water. It is an essential tool for maintaining hygiene in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.

Sponge mop head with absorbent grooves

Efficient Cleaning Mechanism

The mop head requires a brief rinse in warm water to prepare before use. Once ready, the integrated lever system allows you to slide the handle to activate the folding base, effectively draining out water without touching the mop head. The cleaning pad features built-in channels designed to trap hair, crumbs, and fine dust particles while managing spills.

The stainless steel handle is adjustable, providing an extended reach to clean floors comfortably while maintaining good posture, which helps reduce back strain. The absorbent material is gentle yet durable, ensuring it cleans effectively without scratching surfaces.

Adjustable handle sponge mop for hardwood floors

Hygiene and Versatility

The hands-free design ensures sanitary operation by keeping hands completely away from the mop head during the drying process. It is suitable for a variety of sealed flooring types, including hardwood, laminate, marble, and ceramic tile. For storage, the handle includes a built-in hanging loop to allow for air drying and space-saving organization.

  • HANDS-FREE DRYING: The lever-action mechanism drains water efficiently, keeping hands clean and dry during use.
  • HIGH ABSORBENCY: The absorbent pad manages spills rapidly, leaving floors nearly dry in a single pass.
  • CLEANING CHANNELS: Built-in ridges in the mop head trap hair, dust, and debris to prevent them from being pushed around the floor.
  • ADJUSTABLE HANDLE: The telescopic stainless steel pole extends to accommodate different heights and reduce physical strain.
  • MULTI-SURFACE SAFE: Gentle texture is safe for use on hardwood, laminate, tile, and marble without causing scratches.
  • DUAL-ACTION FOLDING: The engineered base folds evenly from both sides for maximum water removal.
  • DURABLE MATERIAL: Constructed from stainless steel and impact-resistant PP plastic for long-term household use.
  • CONVENIENT STORAGE: Features a hanging hole for vertical storage and proper drying between uses.

Confirmation came through straight away, then another email when it was sent. Tracking worked and the parcel arrived when they said it would. Nice and straightforward

Benjamin Foster

Nothing missing and no surprises when I opened the parcel. What turned up matched what I’d seen on the website

Hannah Lewis

Had a look around before buying and this was a fair bit cheaper. Arrived as expected too, so happy with that.

Sophie Bennett

I emailed before ordering because I couldn’t work out which option I needed. Got a proper reply explaining the difference, rather than just a link back to the page I’d already read. Might seem a small thing but it helped me decide. Placed the order that evening and I’m happy with what arrived.

Harry Collins

My first order was only a small one a few months back. That went well, so I checked here when I needed something else. Different sort of purchase this time but everything was just as straightforward. Saved me another evening of looking around!

Daniel Thompson

Ordered Sunday evening and it was here Tuesday morning. Wasn’t expecting that, especially ordering over the weekend

Charlotte Brooks

All arrived, all good 😊

Amelia Scott

Entirely my mistake, I picked the wrong option and only noticed when the confirmation came through. Sent an email and they managed to change it before dispatch. Very relieved I didn’t have to deal with returning it afterwards!

George Wilson

Bought it in the sale. Happy with what I paid and it’s what I was after, which is the main thing.

Grace Mitchell

Hadn’t heard of Havenholt before and wasn’t sure about ordering from somewhere new. Only bought one thing to start with. There was a short wait for dispatch, but they kept me updated and everything arrived as described. Happy with the purchase and I’d be comfortable ordering again.

Emily Carter

There was a mix-up with my order so I had to get in touch. Sent a photo over and they explained what would happen next. Didn’t have to keep repeating myself to different people, which I really appreciated. All sorted now

Samuel Reed

They didn’t have the one I wanted when I went into the shop, but suggested checking online. Managed to order it on the website later that day. Would have preferred to take it home there and then, but this worked out fine.
